Francez | In-Home Maternity Session

There is so much I could say about this newborn session! Francez reached out to me about a maternity in her home. They spent over a year building their home and she said there was plenty of natural light, so it’d be perfect. YA’LL, it was a photographers DREAM. It was so beautifully decorated and there was so much light inside the home.

Not only did I get to photograph a dream home, but Francez was a DREAM too. I say it time and time again, but it will never stop amazing me how absolutely beautiful my soon to be mommas are. She is welcoming her second baby, and first girl, into this world very very soon and was so full of life and happiness I couldn’t help but smile our entire session. AND CONFIDENCE! Half-way through our solo session, she whipped out her belly, stretch marks and I got to capture the beauty and rawness of the human, more specifically women’s, body. Those stretch marks tell a story of a time in your life where you literally had an entire human inside of you. Pregnancy is hard - on your body and your mind, but it is one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced.

I am so so so happy for this family and this little girl that is already so loved. I can’t wait to get to come back and capture this family’s memories again when she gets here!
